Welcome to the Organic Products Exporters of New Zealand (OPENZ)

The Organic Products Exporters of New Zealand Inc. (OPENZ) was formed to encourage and support companies and organizations with an interest in the New Zealand organic export industry. This site links OPENZ members to world markets, through our export directory, provides information about New Zealand’s organic production and organic standards, and explains New Zealand’s access to international organic markets. OPENZ provides a range of services to its members, which include some of New Zealand’s largest exporters, as well as organic certifiers, regulators and small, family concerns. Applications for OPENZ membership are open to all organizations – including those not currently exporting, but which are interested in promoting the opportunities for New Zealand organic products.

Fonterra and Comvita will be exhibiting with OPENZ at BioFach, the world's largest organic trade fair.  BioFach 2010, being held in Nuremberg (Germany) from February 17-20, has the theme "Organic + Fair", and seeks to exceed BioFach 2009's achievements of attracting 46,771 visitors from 119 countries.
